France Magazine Celebrates 20th Anniversary
The 20th anniversary edition of FRANCE Magazine hits the shelves on the 20th of January as Francophiles celebrate two decades of the best-selling magazine. Since spring 1990 FRANCE Magazine has brought the sights, sounds and tastes that France has to offer to readers worldwide.
With a special collector’s metallic cover for its dedicated subscribers, the February edition of the magazine fêtes the great and the good of all things Gallic. Highlights include:
• EXCLUSIVE interview with Joan Collins – the actress revealed what she really thinks about Carla Bruni to the magazine’s regular columnist and author Carol Drinkwater.
• 20 things you must do in France– choose from any one of the country’s 548 Michelin-starred restaurants, or make time to visit one of the country’s 33 Unesco World Heritage sites.
• Test your knowledge: a quiz dedicated to finding out how much readers know about everything from gastronomy to history.
Carolyn Boyd, editor of FRANCE Magazine comments:
“I’m delighted to be celebrating the magazine’s 20th birthday. The fact that the magazine has so many dedicated readers, and has done for so long, shows just how appealing France is for people from every walk of life. And, as people think about their holidays for 2010, the anniversary comes as a timely reminder that France is still the world’s favourite holiday destination.”
