Great Winter chalet holidays for non-skiers

The experience of a chalet holiday is no longer the preserve of adrenalin seeking skiers and boarders, with other more serene pursuits available in the mountains this Winter.

OutBreak Adventure Holidays offer a one week chalet based snowshoeing holiday \\throughout January, where a group of up to eight guests join our resident guide during the day, to explore the Haut Giffre Valley in the Haute Savoie region of the French Alps. This can also be combined with a regular ski holiday for groups with mixed interests.

Each evening our guests return to the comfort of our historic alpine chalet, for a three course dinner and an evening of well deserved relaxation in the sauna, or in front of the open fire.

Snowshoes are a lightweight device, which fit snugly onto a regular walking boot, providing support on deep powder snow, allowing you to walk in the peace and quiet of the mountains, far away from the crowds on the ski slopes. It’s a totally off-piste experience, with no experience required!

OutBreak Adventure are now offering a 10% late availability discount for certain weeks in January 2010 and the cost for a one week holiday, including snowshoes and poles, breakfast, packed lunches and evening meals on all but one evening, is just 580.00 GBP per adult, based on two people sharing. There are no single supplements for solo travellers.
