Aquarius At Whatley Manor Introduces ‘Luxe For Less’ Spa Experiences
Balancing work and a healthy lifestyle has never been so important especially in these challenging economic conditions. With this in mind Whatley Manor (01666 822 888 www.whatleymanor.com), the beautiful restored private manor house that nestles in 12 acres of Wiltshire countryside, has come up with the perfect solution to enable non residents to relax for less in the luxurious surroundings of its award winning spa Aquarias.
From January 2010 the spa is offering a new series of ‘Luxe for Less’ half day and evening spa experiences, as well as a choice of mini treatments for guests to enjoy some well earned pampering and relaxation. Aquarias spa is the only La Prairie five star ‘Art of Beauty’ centre outside of London. These centres are only found in the most exclusive spas around the world and are a sign of outstanding quality.
The new ‘Luxe for Less – Half Day Spa Experience‘ £95 per person offers half day use of the spa facilities including the hydrotherapy pool, salt scrub showers, wave dream sensory room, tepidarium, steam cabins, sauna and gym plus a choice of either a 30 minute La Prairie Intensive Eye Lift Treatment or a 60 minute Jessica mini manicure and mini pedicure.
The La Prairie Intensive Eye Lift Treatment is a thirty minute ultra-firming and hydrating eye treatment, intensively concentrated with the highest levels of Caviar extracts to provide instant relief for eyes that are devitalised, puffy, aged and undernourished. Skin feels firmer, gently lifted, brighter and radiant. The Jessica Mini manicure and mini pedicure is a nourishing treatment to apply cuticle oil and cream to the nails and the toes after which they are filed and painted.
Other half day options include a ‘Relax and Re-energise Half Day Spa Experience’ starting at £118 per person, which also includes use of all the spa facilities plus the choice of a 60 minute spa treatment and a freshly made smoothie in the spa lounge. Alternatively, for £152 per person a 90 minutes spa treatment can be offered.
Making use of the longer winter evenings the spa is also introducing a new series of ‘Evening Spa Experiences’ from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at a cost of £38 per person and includes full use of all the spa facilities. Or for £68 per person an evening spa session can be followed by a two course a la carte dinner with coffee served in Le Mazot, the informal brasserie from 8.30pm onwards.
The half day spa experiences are offered Sunday to Thursday from 9.00am to 1.00pm or 2.00pm to 6.00pm. Full day spa experiences from 9.00am to 5.00pm. The evening spa is from 5.30pm to 8.30pm and the evening spa with dinner from 5.00pm to 8.00pm followed by dinner at 8.30pm in Le Mazot.
A one-night stay at Whatley Manor costs from £295 per room for a standard room including bed and breakfast and 10% discretionary service charge and VAT, plus use of the spa Aquarias. Spa treatments cost from £55 and £84 for a 60-minute treatment. Tai Chi costs £55 per person per hour and personal training costs £55 per person per hour.
