COX & KINGS HERALDS THE LAUNCH OF ITS NEW LUXURY TRAIN WITH A

‘BUY ONE GET ONE HALF PRICE’ OFFER ON BA CLUB WORLD UPGRADES

Tipped to be the world’s most luxurious train, the Maharajas’ Express will be unveiled in Mumbai on 16th January 2010. To herald the imminent launch, Cox & Kings is offering an exclusive ‘Buy One Get One Half Price’ deal on upgrades to Club World on British Airways, available to anyone travelling on the train before the end of April.

Club World customers benefit from 25% wider seats that recline into 6-foot fully flat beds, plus dedicated check-in desks and lounges and a treatment in the Elemis Travel Spa at Heathrow. The standard cost to upgrade to Club World is £1,345 per person; however, book Club World flights with your Maharajas’ Express trip through Cox & Kings, travelling before 30 April 2010, and the second passenger can upgrade their flights for half price (just £672.50).

The Maharajas’ Express will feature five deluxe cabin carriages, six junior suite carriages, two suite carriages and one grand presidential suite, accommodating 82 passengers in comfort and style. Every cabin will have large panoramic windows, individual temperature controls and state of the art facilities, from large LCD screens to environmentally-friendly washrooms.

At 9′3” x 7′9” , the standard, deluxe cabin is the most spacious rail cabin in its category in the world. There is a bar carriage, an observation carriage with its own bar, games tables and club armchairs, as well as two fine dining restaurants that seat 42 people each.

The train will operate four main itineraries: from Mumbai to Delhi (taking in Vadodara, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Ranthambore and Agra), and from Delhi to Calcutta (taking in Agra, Gwalior, Khajuraho, Bandhavgarh, Varanasi and Gaya), and both journeys in reverse. A full programme of activities is included in the holiday cost, including visits to all the main sites, and activities such as elephant polo and champagne breakfasts.

The 11 night Classical India itinerary, which combines six nights on board the train with three nights in Delhi and two nights in Calcutta, costs from £4,795 per person including Economy class flights with British Airways, accommodation with breakfast (full board on the train), transfers and all excursions.

Offer subject to availability. For more details, please contact Cox & Kings on 020 7873 5000 or visit www.coxandkings.co.uk
